We love pre-filled heating pads for all of their amazing health benefits, but they have a few of issues.  For starters: they can't be washed, and another: if the filler is overheated you have to throw them away.   Many people resort to using a sock and that comes with it's own problems.  That's why we created our Heating Pad cover.

Features:  

• Made with a resin zipper and 100% cotton canvas this allows your heating pad to be microwaved without causing damage. 
• Zipper is hidden, so that children and friends will not open up the contents and spill rice or other contents all over your home.
• If your cover becomes dirty, simply unzip, dump out the contents and machine wash, and air dry.

How to use:

1. Gather your favorite all natural and new filler like rice, flax seed, or other recommended fillers 

   (do not use minute rice)

2. If using essential oils add a few drops to the filler and mix together in a bowl PRIOR to filling into your cover

3. Use a funnel to pour filler into your cover.  Fill to desired fullness.  We prefer about 3/4 full and zip.
4. Microwave for 30 seconds. Remove from microwave and knead your cover to move contents around and even the heat
5. If heat is still needed: microwave in 30 second increments at a time to desired temperature do not heat over 2 minutes. Microwave times will vary depending on the microwave
6. Regularly check contents for browning or burned pieces.  If any overheated contents are found simply remove and dispose of the contents and fill with new filler
